A personal message about this World Cup

Dear fans,

After much reflection, we have decided to go ahead with The Football Village, maintaining our longstanding tradition for World Cup and Euro championships since 2010. We do not endorse FIFA's choice of venue which has been widely criticized. We only wish to continue offering you the opportunity to support your national team together with your fellow citizens and fans.

Let us keep in mind that the World Cup is above all a sporting competition, where all of us - Belgians, French, German, Spanish, Croats, Argentinians, Brazilians, Senegalese, Moroccans, Japanese, South Koreans...and fans from around the world can set aside our differences and join together to enjoy the sport we love.
